Electoral District Changes in Canada

The list of electoral districts in the Canada Elections Act has been amended. In Ontario, the districts of Algoma—Manitoulin—Kapuskasing, Kenora, and Timmins—James Bay have been replaced with Kapuskasing—Timmins—Mushkegowuk, Kenora—Kiiwetinoong, Sault Ste. Marie—Algoma, and Sudbury East—Manitoulin—Nickel Belt. In Quebec, Manicouagan has been replaced with Côte-Nord—Kawawachikamach—Nitassinan. Manitoba’s districts of Dauphin—Swan River—Neepawa and Selkirk—Interlake—Eastman have been replaced with Riding Mountain. In British Columbia, Kamloops—Thompson—Cariboo and Mission—Matsqui—Fraser Canyon have been replaced with Kamloops—Thompson—Nicola. Saskatchewan’s Battlefords—Lloydminster and Carlton Trail—Eagle Creek have been replaced with Battlefords—Lloydminster—Meadow Lake. In Alberta, Grande Prairie—Mackenzie and Medicine Hat—Cardston—Warner have been replaced with Grande Prairie.
