The Parliament of Canada was dissolved on March 23, 2025. The King of Canada, Charles the Third, with the advice of the Prime Minister, has summoned the Senators and Members of the House of Commons to convene in person on May 26, 2025, at 8:00 AM in Ottawa for the dispatch of business. This proclamation, issued under the authority of the Governor General of Canada, Mary May Simon, calls for the assembly to address and conclude matters that the Parliament may ordain.
